Getting from arrivals to departures in T2

HI,

I have a domestic flight arriving with air India from goa. The ticket states I will be arriving at T2. I am the getting on an international British airways flight 6 hours later.
I have two questions:

1.can I get to the depArtures area direct from arrivals within the terminal?
2.is this arrival information correct and air India does have some domestic flights arriving at t2?

Please help.
